Omega hit singer and vocalist Victor Ruz has been unveiled as a brand ambassador for Victoria University.
The singer put pen to paper by signing the contract papers to continue his studies which he had put at a halt to continue with his music career.
In a statement released by the musician to his fans, he hinted at having been given a free bursary by the university.
“Hi, mum, fans, and family. Let’s cheer up for this big step added to my career. I have been chosen as one of the brand ambassadors of Victoria university and given a free bursary to resume the studies that I had put on hold for some reasons.” VIctor Ruz said.
Welcoming him to the university was the university’s Vice-Chancellor Dr. Lawrence Muganga who thanked him for accepting the offer and urged him to work hard and keep the university name in good shape.

“I was supposed to join university by the moment I chose to join music putting books on hold. I occasionally held misunderstandings with my family plus all caretakers but I chose to do what passion called for.” Victor Ruz said.
Additionally, he noted that he gave his family and caretakers his word that once he breaks through into the music industry and stabilizes, he could balance studies with music and then return to school.
