The fresher’s were expected to report at university on 1st October 2022 for their academic year one 2022/2023.
According to the communication from Makerere university vice chancellor prof. Charles Nawangwe that he made during an interview, the students will not report as yet until 15th October, he also continues to explain that the affected students are the undergraduates and the graduates.
“There has been a delay in admission process at the university hence 1st October could not be the best date to start reporting as it was earlier anticipated
Adding to that, he also explained that the university has not yet issued admission letters for freshers which is a crucial point and it should be considered before the students report
Prof. Nawangwe Charles also emphasizes that the new changes do not affect the continuing students and they can go ahead and report on 1st October
